The surface texture is inspired by fish scales. Modelling tools are used to carve into the surface which gives a very tactile finish and 'fish scale' effect.
It is part glazed to give a contrast between the shiny glaze surface and the matt fired clay.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
Slab built vase in a flecked stoneware clay with a hand-carved 'fish scale' surface design and part glazed in a kiwi green glaze. The interior is white and waterproof for using as a vase or just as a decorative item.
Approx. Size: 16cm high x 9cm wide.
Finished with the Bird Box Pottery makers mark.
