After a brilliant time at the Uke Festival I am back and working on new designs. Keep your eyes peeled! Don't forget we love to take on your commissions so please get in touch if we can make something especially for you.
Usually, my straps are hand painted and hand decorated which often makes them 'special occassion' straps to stand out at gigs, clubs and festivals. Ukes don't just go fancy places, though and I felt I wanted to make a range that could go to the park or the beach, sit in the car, come out in the garden ... These straps are still handmade and beautiful but made from a pre-printed cotton so they are more suitable to chuck in the bottom of your gig-bag for everyday use..
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

A special ukulele strap personalised and customised just for you.
Made from high quality cotton fabric and slightly padded so it is comfy. It will be adjustable so you can find the best length for you. You choose how you would like it to look by from the pre-set options: colour, width, design ... Please note where the word sits on my shoulder. Longer words will be differently positioned.
If you would like to have a strap fully made to your specifications that would be really good fun. I love to get creative. However, please contact me before buying. I will make you a special listing once we have discussed your preferences.
The strap pictured is one I made for myself. It is long and adjustable on navy cotton. I have chosen 1.5" (3.8cm) width and a pretty floral design. I have my own name in white in my hand-writing but you could have the name of your uke, your ukulele group, your dog ...
In case you only have one strap button on your uke, I will include 2 free strings in complementary colours - one to use and a spare. Both hand-crocheted in strong cotton thread and the perfect length for a ukulele.
This strap is made to order so it will take longer to reach you than usual. Dependingn on your choices, I may need to order materials to meet your requirements and hand-embroidery takes time. Please let me know if you have specific deadline.
