Full description
This textile art picture of sheep grazing by the riverside has been mede using a needle felting technique which binds fabric and fibres together without the need for stitching. The background of this picture has been created using strips of coloured silk fabric needle felted to a felt base. Wool and silk fibres have been used to blend the colours. The trees have been added using woollen strands and small woollen balls while the sheep have been cut from a piece of 100% wool felt and needle felted into place and a woolly coat added. Birds have been added using black thread. The needle felting process adds texture to the surface of the picture.
The picture has been mounted using a black and white card mount and can be purchased mounted or framed in a simple black frame, dimensions given below.

The frame has a hanging loop and a prop stand allowing the picture to be hung on the wall or freestanding.
