This bee is from FIFTY BEES 5
He is built into a beautiful antique blue tooled leather container. The later pictures show the scale of this bee compared to the others in the collection.
He is 3 x actual size and made with wool, vintage kamibari gold, silver and silk thread and embroidery thread, beads.
The Fifty Bees Project is a unique and creative initiative by British artist Lydia Needle, aiming to raise awareness about the diversity of British bee species and their critical role in the environment.
