I was inspired by the sheer beauty of a peacock feather. The lustrous colours and hues of blue and green through to purple. These are individually hand painted with underglazes that run into the embossed feather design, deepening the colours in the embossed areas. These buttons have 3 firings in total being finished with a mother of pearl lustre to give that sheen that peacock feathers have. I hope you like them.

Handmade ceramic buttons in peacock feather colours and a teardrop shape finished with a mother of pearl lustre.
Perfect to adorn any yarncraft project.
2 holes.
4.2cms long and 2.2 cms wide.
Approx 3mm thick.
These are handmade in earthenware and decorated and fired by me in my workshop at home.
Hand-wash only recommended.
