Postage. I've changed the postage for all my large letter items to post Tracked 48 instead of First Class as this is a far safer way of making sure little packages get to you safely and it is very unlikely to delay delivery. My other, small packages are all posted Tracked 24.
I love hummingbirds and the beautiful sight of them dipping their beaks into the nectar.

Full description
A stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique. A hummingbird dipping its beak into the nectar of a pretty pink flower.
This was a new design in 2013, originally made as a gift. I made a few more and then lost my pattern. Now redrawn and more beautiful than ever.
The suncatcher is in the form of a 15cm ring containing a teal, emerald textured glass hummingbird, a ruby throat variety I think, hovering, with its beak collecting nectar from a pretty pink flower.
The pink glass of the flower is quite opaque so appears darker with the light behind it.
The bird and flower are surrounded by very pretty iridescent clear bubbly glass and I've framed the ring with twisted wire for strength and neatness.
The suncatcher hangs from a little silver chain which is securely attached at the top by soldered rings.
I love this hummingbird design. It looks absolutely stunning hanging up in the light where it shines and the different textures and shades of glass give it life and sparkle.
The suncatcher is round, 6 inches in diameter.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. Every piece I make is unique.
