This captivating image presents a serene seascape at sunset looking out from Clevedon towards South Wales, with a prominent sun's path reflecting on the water. The deep, almost black ocean dominates the lower half of the frame, showing gentle ripples and a shimmering, bright silver-gold reflection stretching from the horizon directly towards the viewer.
Above the dark waters, the sky is a stunning canvas of colours. The horizon glows with a warm, golden-orange light, hinting at the sun's position just below or at the edge of the frame. Above this warm band, the sky transitions into a vibrant blue, filled with numerous elongated, horizontal clouds. These clouds are beautifully illuminated from below by the golden light, creating a striking contrast between their bright undersides and the cooler blue of the sky. In the distance, a faint, dark landmass or coastline is subtly visible along the horizon line. The overall impression is peaceful beauty and the dramatic interplay of light and shadow at the close of the day.
