Full description
This is an expressive watercolor and ink painting of Venetian gondolas moored at a wooden pier.
A vivid magenta mooring pole on the right contrasts the central blue and dark green gondola. The water is rendered with loose, dynamic washes and paint splatters. In the distance, the iconic Venice skyline is visible as a soft, atmospheric blue silhouette, creating a moody, impressionistic scene.
Watercolour and ink original painting mounted using 14 x 11 inch mount (A4 aperture). FRAME for illustration purposes only - not included in sale.
