Full description
Natural pink coral "corallium rubrum" round cabochons 5mm. Hardness: 3-4 Mohs. Origin: Mediterranean sea. Treatment: none. Soft material so avoid too much heat.
Coral is an organic material built by thousands of small marine species.
The genus of coral that are used in jewellery-making are not endangered and are not reef corals. These corals are harvested by licenced fisheries (it is a highly regulated industry) and collected by divers using a small pick-axe to minimise damage to the environment at depths below 50 metres – dredging with nets is prohibited - and I only buy/sell this type of coral.
These sterling silver 4mm diameter flat pad ear studs with scrolls, have a pad thickness of 0.50mm and are of a strengthened construction. The post is 0.79mm gauge and they are supplied with scrolls.

Please Don't subject to any hard blows or rough wear.
Avoid Perfume, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic, or Steam cleaning as they may damage the stone.
Sudden change in extreme temperature can break Crystals in time.
You can cleanse with warm soapy water and a soft brush then towel dry, just make sure the Pieces aren't submerged for long periods of time, to keep the glue strong for the Gemstone to stay firmly in place.
They should be kept in a padded jewellery box or bag in a cool, dry place to keep them from getting broken.
