In many cultures the Pentacle is a symbol of protection and to ward off evil. The five points on the pentacle represent the five elements of air, fire, water, earth, and spirit. These points are then joined by the outer circle, representing the harmony and balance, when all are working together. The outer circle in the pentacle can also symbolize wholeness, infinity, and the goddess.
Lapis lazuli protects against dark forces, blocking negative influences, creating an energy shield around ones self and repelling negativity, keeping you safe from harm, also to help maintain inner peace, promoting emotional balance and calm. Full description
Metal clay is made from extremely fine particles of recycled metal, mixed with organic binders and water. You shape it, then leave it to dry, and then fire to burn off the binder, then you're left with solid Sterling silver.
Natural Lapis Lazuli Half Round Cabochons, Size: about 2mm in diameter, 1mm thick.
I soldered the pentacle studs to the stems.
Earstem 11.60mm x 0.79mm with Round Nose Sterling Silver (STS)
Sterling Silver Ear Scroll Butterfly Back 5mm, '925' stamped on back.
Size: 4.5mm x 5.5mm. Fits post size 0.65-0.85mm.
Pentacle measurement: Appro. x 9mm by 8mm
Earring pair Weight: 1.36g (without lapis lazuli)
Black patina in the hollows with a little varnish to keep the colour lasting longer.
Caring for your earrings:
Avoid any hard blows or rough wear.
Avoid harsh chemicals.
Cleanse with warm soapy water and a soft brush then towel dry.
Best kept in a padded jewellery box or bag in a cool, dry place to keep them safe.
