I would suppose that most workers in glass have an interest in millefiore. I certainly do. I have a small supply of millefiore and other decorative glass beads. I like to experiment with possible effects and and I am particularly pleased with the way this brooch has turned out.

Full description
This brooch is based on a copper octagon on which I have built up several layers of clear enamel then added millefiore beads and layers of transparent green enamel. The effect is a slice of fossiliferous sediment
The octagon measures 36mm side to side. I have soldered a 26mm brooch bar to it.
