Full description
I have coated the copper shape of this cat with clear enamel coats, allowing the copper beneath to show through in tones of golden brown. I have then added coats of black enamel through which the copper base shines. A coat of counter enamel on the reverse balanced the tensions in the copper while the display surface was built up. The cat's eyes are made from two glass drops, fired to the clear coat and then kept clear when the black coats. I were addedhave mounted the cat on a simple brooch bar.
The cat measures 3.3cm long, head to tail, 2cm wide from head to front foot.
