I really enjoyed making this throw - all of the colourful fabrics are from Moda's Sariditty range and the pattern is called Primrose Lane, by Sue Daley.

Handmade patchwork throw; colourful, modern and fun!.
Measures approx. 56" (142cm) long x 52" (132cm) wide.
I made this beautiful throw with 10 different fabrics for the colourful houses, 4 different fabrics for the trees and 7 different fabrics for the skies. All of the house and tree fabrics are from Sariditty's Rainbow Sherbet and Rainbow Spice ranges for Moda and the sky fabrics are a mixture of Linen Texture by Makower, Twist by Dashwood and Kona Solids. All fabrics are 100% cotton.
Between the front and reverse sides there is a layer of Hobbs 80-20 Heirloom wadding and the reverse side is a very colourful multicoloured check cotton fabric. I have quilted the front of the throw with vertical lines in variegated cotton thread by Gutermann that varies through the range of purple, blue and green. The quilting on the reverse side is a cream cotton thread by Aurifil. A purple binding strip runs all the way around the edges.
This throw with its summery colours would be perfect to use on a conservatory sofa or armchair or perhaps on a garden bench when the air turns a bit chilly. You could display either side uppermost and I have deliberately not attached any brand or care labels for this reason.
Can be hand washed; please air dry and iron with a medium heat setting if required.
