Over the course of a year I collected flowers and leaves in my garden , making moulds of what I found. Now I have been working through this collection of moulds, making test pieces from non precious materials , and then working with silver metal clay to created pendants from my favourite moulds.
The metal clay material is quite an amazing thing : the silver is reclaimed from various industrial purposes and combined with a binder that makes it workable. Once it is fired we are left with a piece of silver of hall mark quality. ( This item is below the weight that requires hall marking . )

Full description
Silver pendant with impression of mini daffodil, with an organic hand made appearance. To add a bit of extra sparkle I have added a semi precious tourmaline stone on silver wire. The pendant has been given a patina which brings out the detail of the flower. It is quite a bit larger in diameter than a five pence piece - see photo for scale.
Tourmaline is a birthstone for October and daffodil is a birth flower for March.
Hangs on a 22 inch silver chain.
