Full description
An original reduction lino print from my limited edition 'February Joy' snowdrop print.. This is an AP (Artist Proof) it is not part of the limited edition of just 11 prints which all have a dark green background. This one has a blue-green background, and is the only one, as I decided on the green for the edition.
The image is from my original artwork of snowdrops picked from my garden displayed in a woodfired posy pot
The artwork is transfered onto the lino and I can begin carving into the lino ready for the first layer of ink. As each layer dries I carve more of the lino away ready for the next layer of ink. This is called the reduction method of printing.
I have illustrated the difference in background colour in the further images. This is the only print with this background colour. If you prefer the green it is also still available in my Folksy shop.
Printed on A4 Snowden printmakers paper using Cranfield safe wash inks

The print is unframed and unmounted
It will be enclosed in a protective sleeve with a card backing and carefully packed. Your print will be posted Royal Mail 48 tracked. I try to reuse packaging whenever possible.
