Full description
I used a beautiful variegated blue silk thread and metal rings to make this set of six 2cm
crosswheel Dorset buttons. I have added integrated shanks for easy attachment to your projects.
The production of Dorset buttons was originally a large cottage industry in Dorset, England between 1622 and 1850, after which they were replaced by machine-made buttons. This craft is enjoying a revival and I love making them with contemporary materials.
