I have finally got back to work in the last couple weeks following an unexpected hiatus from the turn of 2026. However this did give me the opportunity to rethink a few things and come up with some new ideas. Amongst these are the introduction of colour by way of painted glass used in some of the trinket pots.
Just a reminder that apart from exceptionally large pieces my items are delivered free of charge by Royal Mail, second class.
I have been experimenting with fluting and resin casting. This was, I like to think, my best attempt so far. Perhaps you are the judge.

Full description
This bowl has been turned from cherry. The bowl recess is offset and the rim has then been fluted. The flutes were then resin filled to which a glitter was added to give a subtle iridescent effect. Finally the piece was given a fine finish then waxed for a warm sheen.
