There's something inspiring in the resilience of small garden birds - their determination to survive despite the constant threat from a bigger world. This blue tit was resting a moment from making constant forays to the bird feeders to top up its energy levels in freezing winter conditions. 'Small But Mighty' - Blue Tit
Square greetings card featuring my original photograph of a blue tit fluffed up against the winter cold. Image shows a small, round blue tit perched on a twig close to camera against a blurred snowy backdrop. Taken at Adel Dam Nature Reserve, near Bramhope, Leeds, this bird was part of a busy group making the most of the full bird feeders as an energy source in the winter snow. These birds are tiny but they are also finely honed for survival - small, but mighty! The perfect card for any bird nerd, wildlife fan, or nature lover.
The card measures 14.5 x 14.5cm (6in square) and is blank inside for your message. Printed by a specialist printing service on 300gsm quality card, silk finished on the outside and matte on the inside. Each card comes with a white envelope, packaged in a protective compostable cello wrap.
