Full description
A special, original handpainted blank card, featuring some of my own favourite flowering plants. Commonly found in many of our gardens, they give a lovely pop of colour even on a rainy day! This is a unique watercolour, so you will be buying a one-of-a kind greetings card. It could be popped into a little frame as a keepsake. The layered card measures 14 x 14 cms and is made from recycled textured linen and watercolour cardstock. It comes supplied with a 100% recycled brown kraft paper envelope.
I sketched the flowers in pencil, then watercolours, adding details with a dark grey fineliner pigment ink pen. There are tiny touches of highlights in gold and white water-based ink. This card features hydrangea, echinacea and golden sunflowers. I added a layer of dark blue canvas style card below the painting to compliment the flowers. The base of the card is handmade from beautifully textured white linen cardstock. A card that is great for many occasions and blank inside for writing.
Delivery is by Royal Mail in a clear bio-film compostable card wrapper and a brown recyclable board-backed envelope. Please keep card wrappers out of reach of small children.
