These pendants are inspired by the hagstones I find while out beachcombing. Considered lucky by many people, hagstones are created by molluscs called piddocks which bore holes into the stone.

Full description
A simple, stylish pendant, inspired by the hagstones (holey stones) I sometimes find when beach combing. It has been made melting little off-cuts of silver into shape. The process is serendipitous, so each charm I make is different to the next.
Solid silver charm - approx 13mm x 12mm
Chain - 18 inch recycled sterling silver belcher chain.
All the silver I use is 100% recycled scrap silver from a reputable supplier, which is fully traceable and exactly the same quality and purity as unrecycled silver. It has been recovered from the jewellery trade and IT and medical sectors. This avoids the unnecessary negative environmental impact of mining for new silver. I either send my off-cuts to be recycled, or melt them down myself as in the case of this pendant. Silver is endlessly recyclable!
Charm pendants work well on their own and also look lovely layered with other necklaces.
Hagstones make perfect gifts for people who love spending time by the sea, and, because they are considered lucky, are also thoughtful gifts.
Presented in a little branded eco-friendly gift box and recycled tissue paper - ready to give as a gift or to keep for yourself!
