Full description
The giant granny squares used to make this bag are made with a jumbo sized hook and 4 strands of yarn held together. This supersizes the humble granny square and makes a bag that is brilliantly strong and will keep it's shape.
The handles are made of a base layer of crochet chains then crocheted over to stop them from stretching.
Measuring 37cm square not including the handles, the bag is plenty large enough to hold A4 folders, books or shopping along with the usual purse, phone and keys.
You can pop the bag in the washing machine for a gentle wash. I recommend using a wash bag ( or pillow case!) so it doesn't snag on anything else in the machine. Pull gently back to shape and air/line dry.
Like everything within my Happy Scrappy range, the yarn colours were picked at random from my scrappy basket and won't be duplicated so this will be the only one made in these shades/placement.
I use Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service which is fully tracked and insured. You will receive an email with tracking details when I book the parcel collection.
