Over the course of a year I took impressions from flowers and leaves growing in my garden on the east coast of Scotland. Using these moulds I created this daisy pendant in the hope that it would be an attractive and tactile pendant , reminding you of a favourite flower , or as a symbol to connect you to the changing seasons.

Full description

Beautiful dainty silver daisy pendant with semi precious peridot charm.

Pendant hangs on a belcher chain .... inches long. When worn the peridot

charm often hangs in front of the daisy, giving the appearance of a sparkly

centre. Peridot is the birthstone for August. Daisy is a birth flower for April.

This pendant is quite thin and flat ( as opposed to some of the other pendants

which are more chunky in style . ) I have not patinated the silver on this piece ,

so it retains it's natural silver colour. Some people prefer this natural shiny silver,

others prefer the effect of patination which darkens the piece a little but brings

out the details of the plants. Its just a question of personal preference , so I treat

each pendant according to what I think brings out the best in it.

With this daisy design the delicate details of the petals are clear to see without

any additional treatment.

Please see the photo with the five pence coin for scale.

This piece has been made by hand using a mould made from a daisy in my garden and has an organic feel to it. Although this will allow me to make the same design again, each one will turn out slightly differently , so none will ever be completely alike.
