As a devoted admirer of William Morris and his revolutionary designs, I was instantly captivated when this exclusive lilac colourway of the iconic "Strawberry Thief" pattern was created through the special collaboration between Alice Caroline and The Strawberry Thief Australia.
The enchanting lilac hues breathe fresh life into Morris' timeless 1883 masterpiece, creating a contemporary interpretation while preserving the pattern's historical significance.
This pendant represents my passion for blending traditional Arts and Crafts artistry with modern aesthetics, celebrating both the natural world that inspired Morris and the meticulous craftsmanship he championed.
Each time I create one of these pendants, I'm reminded of Morris' philosophy that beautiful, handcrafted objects should be accessible to all—a belief I share as I transform this exquisite fabric into wearable art that connects its wearer to a rich artistic heritage while adding a touch of elegance to everyday life.

Meticulously crafted, this heirloom-quality piece showcases a perfectly selected portion of the beloved 1883 design - a mischievous thrush singing after stealing a strawberry, surrounded by intricate foliage and blossoms in stunning lilac, blue-green, and ochre yellow tones. This Arts & Crafts masterpiece was inspired by birds in Morris' own Kelmscott Manor garden.
