This image was born from a day dedicated to capturing motion and movement in London. Earlier, I had spent hours at The Mall photographing cyclists in motion using a 6-stop filter to create dynamic, flowing scenes. On my way home, inspired by the energy of the city and still focused on the theme of movement, I stopped at Covent Garden Tube station. Without using a filter, I relied solely on the natural motion of the passing train to create this striking abstract image. I already envisioned giving the photograph an urban edge, so during post-processing, I applied a textures to create subtle grunge affect to enhance the mood and transform the scene into a work of art that blends motion, structure, and texture seamlessly.
