I love collecting semi precious stones and wished to introduce semi precious beads into my jewellery making. I decided to make a collection of modern gemstone jewellery by combining them with polymer clay elements.

A contemporary, minimalist pair of Mother of Pearl dangly earrings.
These semi precious earrings feature a milky white, 4mm Mother of Pearl bead hung from a silver plated triangle which has been decorated with a handmade, grey polymer clay semi circle. The grey clay has a speckled granite appearance.
The silver plated triangle and Mother of Pearl bead are hung on silver plated earring wire.
These earrings would be perfect not only for those that love gemstones and semi-precious jewellery but also anyone who loves contemporary geometric shapes in their clothing and jewellery.
Mother of Pearl is connected to the sea and it symbolizes prosperity and good luck as well as stimulating our intuition, imagination and sensitivity.
