Full description
This blue and mustard crochet blanket was inspired by sunshine and summer skies and uses a happy colour palette suitable for a baby boy or girl. It would make an ideal handmade gift and bring a pop of colour to any nursery. Best of all it is ready to post straight away.
I crocheted the blanket by hand at my home in Derbyshire. It is a striped design, using a mix of solid stitches in a ripple pattern. I have used mustard, blue, cream and grey for the body of the blanket and then added a delicate border in cream. The edges of the blanket are straight. To crochet the blanket I followed the Neat Ripple pattern by Attic 24.
I have priced this blanket slightly lower than some of my other ones in this style as the corners of the have gone out of shape, meaning that it is not as square as the blankets I usually make in this particular pattern. I would usually charge £42.
The approximate size of the blanket is 30 inches long x 30 inches wide (76 cm long x 76 cm wide) and it weighs 260g.
