Hi and welcome to Born Again Bears. This name began as the first bears I made were as keepsakes and memories, made by bringing precious items back to new beginnings as special bears to cherish.
I enjoy making all different types and sizes of bears and indeed mice and have enjoyed becoming part of the Folksy family as an outlet for this.
International postage is a new area for me and I will happily combine postage. Please contact me for a price for this and I will do what I can to keep the cost as low as possible.

Full description
This is a soft squidgy 8 inch bear made from felted wool fabric whose previous life was a woolly jumper. I have contrasted various textures of the jumper to make features on the ears and paws and to give some movement the arms are button jointed one red flower and the other yellow.
The eyes are black Onyx beads sewn in and the nose is embroidered. I have added a little neckerchief made from flowery vintage repurposed fabric.
Around the neck is a wooden heart which reads 'I used to be a woolly jumper' on one side and on the other 'but life felt a little bear' (many puns intended)!
Little bear would make a lovely caring present and carries a message of sustainability for beautiful fabrics deserving a second life.
This bear is not suitable as a toy for young children due to the small parts included in the making.
I have included a group photo of several similar bears all listed separately. Each bear takes on a different character and personality depending on the nature of the fabrics used even though the basic design is the same for all, which always amuses me.
I hope you enjoy these little softies, I have certainly enjoyed creating them.
I will send this item via Royal Mail 48 hour tracked wrapped in tissue paper safely inside a clean, reused box.
