Full description

PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for taking part in a fused glass workshop at Cabbage Rose in Leek, Staffordshire

Saturday 6th September 2025

10.15am - 12.15pm

In this workshop you will create a stunning fused glass wave using lots of different colours and shades of blue glass to create a water effect. You will learn how to build up your artwork by using small pieces, glass paint and frits (crushed glass). This workshop will require you to cut glass, but please don't let this put you off, I will teach you how to do that and it's super fun!

Tea, coffee, juice and cake are provided, as well as all of your materials that you need to create your artwork.

The glass work that you create will then be fired and slumped in my home studio and returned back to Cabbage Rose for you to collect. If you would like your piece to be posted to you, we can arrange this on the day. I would just need to ask for additional cost to cover the postage.

Workshop address:

Cabbage Rose,

First floor of the Foxlowe Arts Centre, Stockwell Street, Leek, Staffordshire ST13 6AD

Please note that the workshop is on the first floor of the Arts Centre and only accessible by stairs.

I will be in touch by email closer to the workshop date to give you more information about parking, any allergy queries etc.

This activity is suitable for over 16's
