Welcome to the calming world of decorative hand embroidery.
Enjoy a little time out for yourself, escaping from the busy-ness of modern life into mindfulness with this traditional craft.
In this session, you will be taught the basics of hand embroidery, learning some pretty stitches whilst you create a unique piece of textile art.
Explore hand embroidery stitches including back stitch, satin stitch and French knots, and others, and create a small decorative wall hanging using your new skills and a carefully curated palette of threads.
Materials are provided within your class cost.
You will leave with a partly stitched embroidery, a wooden embroidery hoop, embroidery needle, a selection of threads and printed instructions to allow you to finish your project at home.
All you need to bring is your reading glasses, if you need them.
