The first headband I made was just after I moved back up home to Lancashire in between two lockdowns.
I made it with some hand spun shetland wool from a fleece I'd bought directly from a farmer.a year or two earlier.
My hands needed to keep busy so I made a few for my Mum and sisters...
It reminds me now of the first time I wore it on a biting cold day on a walk around the estuary.

Full description
This is a handknit, pure merino wool headband it ear warmer
It has a central cable pattern with a ribbed border.
As it's a hand dyed wool the colour is beautifully mottled black/purple. It's a really lovely colour....particularly loved by teens.
Because it's pure merino it's really buttery soft and will keep your super warm.
Sizing wise it's 18 inches length and 4 inches wide and will fit a medium sized adult head.
The label is made from vegan leather.
Care - please hand-wash in cool water and dry flat
