The first headband I made was just after I moved back up home to Lancashire in between two lockdowns.
I made it with some hand spun shetland wool from a fleece I'd bought directly from a farmer.a year or two earlier.
My hands needed to keep busy so I made a few for my Mum and sisters...
It reminds me now of the first time I wore it on a biting cold day on a walk around the estuary.

Perfect for those chillier Spring days...
It is a handknit headband or ear warmer, with a central cable pattern. It's very soft as it's made with alpaca and wool - 65% wool and 35% alpaca.
The colour is a muted colour of pale grey, slightly mottle or variegated
Sizing - it's 18 inches length and 4 inches wide and will fit a medium sized adult head
The label is made from vegan leather.
Care - please hand wash in cool water and dry flat.
