This was the very first piece of vintage barkcloth that I bought. When it arrived I was blown away by the quality and the vibrancy of the colours given that it was from the early 1950's. One of my favourite parts of the process when bookbinding is matching ribbon and coloured paper that pick out a colour from the fabric and really make it pop.
