Full description
Serve coffee and cake in style with this matching vintage coffeespoon and cakefork, handstamped with 'I've got time for coffee' and 'Have you got room for cake?' respectively. A sweet and unusual gift for anyone who loves their coffee and cake!
This listing is for TWO items of cutlery: one coffee spoon approx. 12.5cm long and one cake fork approx. 14cm long. They have matching 'silver rose' pattern floral handles and date from around the 1960s. You will receive the items shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic water-based acrylic ink. Not dishwasher proof so please wash carefully by hand. The lettering may still fade with time but the letters themselves are stamped into the metal so they won't go anywhere.
Please note these are vintage silverware pieces that have already had a long and interesting life, so they have scratches, bumps, tarnish, plate loss, dings and imperfections that testify to their history. And the 'o' of 'ROOM' on the fork didn't quite strike in the right place and the plating is a slightly different tone on each piece as they are not from the same canteen of cutlery... I have reduced the price a bit to reflect this. Please study photos carefully before purchasing.
