I love freeform shapes in nature, especially those made by multiples of the same flower. I've tried to replicate this in silver and gold - initially starting out with a little cluster of silver petals and a gold ball on a stalk in the middle.. and have made a series of pendants - this one has 6 clusters.

Full description
All of my Anemone pendants start off life as a single Sterling silver cluster comprising of 8 petals with a stalk in the middle topped with a 9 carat gold ball.. looking a bit like anemone flower.
I then create more of these and this particular design is the result of combining 6 silver and gold clusters, soldered closely together on the surface of an organically shaped upside down silver dish. The effect looks like an striking explosion of silver wire and gold balls - with each cluster intertwined into it's neighbour so it's morphed into looking more like a spiky sea anemone.. hence it's name!
Each of these pendants are freeform and each one is slightly different to each other. It's been an interesting experiment creating this Anemone range as when i add more and more clusters, the design keep on evolving. More anemone pendants coming to my Folksy shop very soon!
