I love Australian Boulder Opals and buy them online - straight from mines in Australia. I spend hours choosing them and it's like Christmas every time they turn up in the post! I then get to work hand setting them in Sterling silver, creating chunky but elegant pendants - each one is unique in it's combination of size, shape, colour and patterns. I hope you love them as much as i do.

This is a beautiful Boulder Opal mined in the Yowah opal fields in Queensland, Australia and weights in at 20.25 carat.
I love the warm autumnal colours of this stone and the subtle pattern which looks like a soft beach landscape to me. I've set the stone in an elegant oval Sterling silver frame with simple silver embellishments over the top - the design being deliberately understated to let this amazing opal do all the talking.
On the reverse, I have created a complementary design which allows parts of this lovely stone to be visible.
I buy most of my Boulder Opals direct from the mines in Australia. I absolutely love that each stone is individual and completely unique in it’s combination of shape, colours, patterns and brightness.
Every element of this Yowah Boulder Opal pendant has been handmade by myself from scratch, other than the stone itself. It comes with a Sterling silver necklace of which you can choose either 16 or 18 inch length.
