Full description

This rather stunning pendant has been created in my little Norfolk studio using a very special silver saturated glass called 'Triton', after flame treating the glass, the bumps of Triton have become an amazing metallic blue finish and are quite reflective. The base glass of the bead is light blue, onto which spots of periwinkle and dark periwinkle have been melted flat before the Triton was added. The whole bead has a slight metallic sheen as the Triton fumes when in the flame.

I used Indigo coloured Swarovski glass crystals and simple disc Sterling Silver bead caps in making the pendant, adding a simple Sterling Silver bail.

The Sterling silver chain is 18" in length and has a ring clasp.

The pendant drop, including the bail is 1 3/4"

(Dimensions stated are approximate)

All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!

I post signed for, bubble wrapped and presented in a satin gift bag with a certificate of authenticity.
