My lampwork glass bead that I created in my studio has a base of a glass called 'new violet' with melted in spots of 'light silver plum' glass that have both got a silvery sheen on them after being passed through the flame, then there is a layer of 'periwinkle' blue spots and finally bumps of sky blue to finish the bead design.
The bead is approximately 18mm in diameter and 13.3mm in width, not including the raised bumps of glass.
The bead, once cooled from the kiln and cleaned was mounted onto simple cup shaped Sterling silver bead caps and uses silver lined clear seed beads to complete the pendant which is hung on a simple Sterling silver bail.
Pendant drop 1 3/4" including the bail.
Chain length 18" (spring clasped Sterling silver) .

All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
I post signed for, bubble wrapped and presented in a satin gift bag with a certificate of authenticity.
