Full description
This stunning pendant necklace using my own handcrafted lampwork glass bead, is a real statement piece; the mirrored turquoise bumpy glass when the light catches the mirroring, reflects beautifully, the effect is difficult to capture in a picture (but I have tried!). The spots have been placed onto a dark purple glass in a regular pattern, the glass looks almost black, until held up in the light and the purple is revealed.
The purple glass bead is around 1" in diameter with a little extra diameter to account for the bumps; little Swarovski glass crystals, sterling silver star shaped bead caps and a simple bail make up a 2" drop on the pendant in total.
The Sterling Silver necklace chain, which does up with a sprung ring clasp is 18" in length.
This lampwork glass bead has been digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use it in my design. The photos show the colour of the bead as accurately as possible, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that all of my beads are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
The necklace comes in a black satin gift bag and certificate of authenticity as a genuine Gingebod Design.
