This miniature shop has been made from cardboard and recycled papers; it is fully furnished with tiny handmade pieces - the bun feet on the couch and chair are wooden seed beads, and the picture frames are brass jump rings. Most elements of this small assemblage piece are finished with chalk paint and wax.

You can find your way into this abandoned home by lifting the roof and pulling open the facia.

The lovely quote is by Virginia Woolf.

My assemblage art pieces are hand made with patience and love - they often take weeks to complete, and made for decoration only (they may have sharp edges and small components, so should be kept out of the reach of children).
