A memory of my being at school, aged six years, wearing my favourite pink coat and patent leather shoes.

Full description
This little girl sculpture wears her favourite pink coat with faux fur collar and black leather patent shoes. Her plaited hair is styled with florist wire then covered in thin layers of paper. The platform is made of cardboard and represents a school playground on a rainy day; the glass seed beads represent marbles (her favourite game). All elements of this assemblage piece are finished with chalk paint and wax.

My assemblage art pieces are hand made with patience and love - they often take weeks to complete, and are made for decoration only (they may have sharp edges and small components, so should be kept out of the reach of children).
