I love to upcycle vintage dolls house furniture and miniatures, and then adding a small, paper mache critter. This piece was inspired by the lovely hedgehogs which sometimes visit our back garden.

Full description
I’ve refinished this miniature chest of drawers with duck egg and beige chalk paint, then sealed with clear and dark waxes. The tiny hedgehog is made of paper mache, formed from a nugget of tin foil and covered with layers of gluey paper, then painted, waxed, and glued into place.

12th scale: H:10cm (including hog) W:6cm D:3cm
My assemblage art pieces are hand made with patience and love - they often take weeks to complete, and made for decoration only (they may have sharp edges and small components, so should be kept out of the reach of children).
