Painted on location in Watchet during a holiday there this year following the death of my dad. I ned time away from the daily routine so a week walking, painting and letting the sea breeze into my lungs was desperately needed.

Full description
Somerset my home county and a place that I hope to move to again. The stunning silvery light spotlighting the water under a leaden sky accompanied by the rhythmic crashing of the waves washes the stress away like nothing else I know. Enjoy this little gem of relaxation on your walls.
This piece is 12"x10" painted in acrylics on a thin stretched canvas.
Although this is unframed I've painted the edges and strung it so a frame isn't needed.
