I wanted to make something in honour of our late Queen, and this was the result. Beautiful, just like her.

This dazzling set is a reproduction of Queen Elizabeth II's famous Sapphire and diamond necklace, made with more affordable components!
I used stunning Sapphire Blue Crystals for each segment and I sewed a complex bezel of glorious glass Hex beads and seed beads to build up a setting for each stone. The aurora borealis finish on the glass Hex beads means they sparkle with a fabulous iridescence that mimics the diamonds in the original Royal jewellery.
The necklace sits 18 to 22 inches, and the large focal setting hangs from the neckline in a cascade of Sapphire crystals. The matching earrings dangle 1.5 inches and come set on Sterling Silver shepherds hooks to avoid irritation. The necklace is finished with a lobster claw clasp and a small extender chain for a comfortable fit.
I will post this unique piece to you in a post-friendly cardboard box via Royal Mail first class post.
