This is the most difficult, and the most complex piece I have ever made, but I had a vision of a dragon held aloft by its tail as the neckline, and this is the result.

This piece took 3 weeks to make, but I had something very specific when I designed it, and that meant a very complex make!
The large dragon, Vhagar, is made from tarnish-resistant copper wire. I set stunning Lapis Lazuli gemstones in the wings, and the body is made from blue flash Labradorite. The coiling tail is set with stunning Tanzanite gemstones and the eyes are made from Ruby. The head is set with Amethyst.
The dragon is connected to a wire-wrapped frame that extends into a highly complex Cellini Spiral made with Miyuki glass seed beads. The Cellini spiral changes direction twice on each side, making it the most complex and difficult piece I have ever made. However, I wanted the spiral to resemble a dragon's tail, and the fabulous neckline perfectly complements the wire-wrapped dragon.
The large dragon measures 4 inches by 7 inches. The neckline is designed to be a choker style, but the extender chain means you may wear the necklace to your own comfort.
