Full description
This cosy cowl has been hand knit using traditional Fair Isle/Nordic techniques and designs in Shetland wool. This is my "Thora Beth Star" design in dark grey and white, with a bright splash of colour. The cowl is knit in a long tube with the ends stitched together meaning the finished item is double layered which provides extra protection from the winter chill.
Measurements (approx):-
circumference - 67cm
depth - 21cm (8")
Shetland wool is naturally stain repellent and does not need to be washed often, but if you feel your cowl needs to be washed:-
Hand wash in cool water.
Lay flat to air dry.
The last picture in the sequence is not exactly the same cowl - but sharing this image to give an idea of how the cowl will look when worn.
Shipped via royal mail 2nd class to UK locations.
Designed by Deena Webster in Inverness
