I enjoy creating from wood and hope you will enjoy your choice. I use a parcel service and they usually deliver within 3-4 days, if your purchase is urgent phone me and for a little more I can send next day.
I strive to recycle, the wood has been accumulated and in some cases donated over many years and this helps to keep prices reasonable. I also make my own packages using salvaged cardboard - quite interesting as well!. The packaging tape and minimal bubble wrap sadly cannot be reused.

It started out as a simple nostapine for winding yarns but developed into a multi use device

Full description

This one at 32 cm and a 6cm whorl has been given a multi shaded staff finished with quality waxes. It weights 66 grams . The basic shape is similar to that of a drop or supported spindle so I added a point to the handle and a groove to the tip I also think it could be used as a distaff?

It’s made from a mix of hardwoods. The handle has been left simple as could be wrapped to soften its grip
