I had purple taffeta longing to be used, so finding purples in navy-purple viscose prints gave the rich colour theme for patchworks. I developed a new bodice/arm pattern, where deep sleeves to high waist are fitted to back and front bodice, also a high waist cut. Bodice was adapted to accommodate a front lace up. Variations are closed front below ties (this dress), or open front.

Exotic kaftan styled leisure dress in purple taffeta and navy printed viscose patchwork. Warmly lined in linen and polyester. Deep fit long sleeved design from bodice. Lace up adjustable front fits bust 36-40 inches. Front patch pocket. Front and back patchworks gathered into high waistline gives ample width skirt. Length 40 inches.
