These tiny, natural, AA grade Lapis Lazuli beads are micro-faceted for maximum sparkle.
Lapis Lazuli is the most popular alternative to Sapphire as a birthstone for Virgo and September.
Lapis Lazuli is an ancient rock, an aggregate of the minerals lazurite, calcite and pyrite.
It has been prized by human civilisations for over 6000 years.
Cleopatra famously used ground Lapis for her eye make-up and Renaissance artists made a costly pigment from it called 'ultramarine'- think of the blue headband worn by Vermeer's 'girl with a pearl earring'.

Dainty, sparkly faceted gemstone bracelet with crystals and gold vermeil.
Beautifully sparkly, this delicate gemstone bracelet is made from 2.75mm AA grade faceted Lapis Lazuli beads set with 4mm quality Austrian crystals in the colour 'blue shade', highlighted with tiny 2mm gold vermeil beads.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold.
I have included a pair of crystals separated by a shimmering 3mm gold vermeil stardust rondelle as a focal point.
The tiny Lapis beads are a deep, vibrant blue with flecks of golden Pyrite.
They are beautifully faceted to give a lovely sparkle.
The Austrian crystals are a delicate shade of pale blue and are very sparkly.
The tiny gold vermeil beads enhance the colour of the Lapis. and add shine.
Hand made (by me!) in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon, UK, this stunning piece would make a very special gift for a birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day or Valentine's.
The bracelet measures approximately 6.5 inches (16.5cm), which is perfect for a 6 inch (15cm) wrist.
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
