I thought I’d join in on the Christmas fun with these two Holly Coasters. Since Winckelmans Tiles are muted colours, I brought in a pretty Ruby, Emaux de Briare tile to brighten these berries.

By nature, mosaic is a rough, tactile surface but I have smoothed the coaster edges for comfort. That said, care should be taken when handling the coasters and your table top art is best kept out of reach of small children.

Art for your tabletop!
Two elegant, unique mosaic coasters that feature Holly on a pale yellow background. The leaves are created in shades of green and the berries are cut from brick red tiles and a lovely bright Ruby tile from Emaux de Briare.
My intricate, hand cut designs are made from beautiful, Winckelmans tiles. These quality porcelain tiles are unglazed and so have a modern matt finish and come in soft muted tones.
Care information:
These Mosaic Coasters are built onto a wooden base and backed with cork. They are sealed and can be surface cleaned with a soapy cloth - you can even use a bit of diluted bleach for any stubborn tea stains. But due to the wooden base, the coaster must not be submerged in water as the base will swell and may dislodge the tiles.
