The idea is to create something new from old, the finished piece isn't meant to be perfect. Instead, retain marks, stains and scratches, part of the original character of the ceramic. All Sterling Silver is either recycled or repurposed.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
The idea is to create something new from old, found by chance, full of history and character. To present and deliver unique Eco Friendly gifts in Sustainable Packaging.

Additional terms
All finds personally collected from river banks, recycle shops, beaches, wherever dropped, lost or donated. Ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece. Ceramic will show marks, scratches and imperfections, all part of its history and journey.

I love collecting anything broken, lost or found by chance. I found a bright blue mug with raised coloured patterns, chipped and destined to be thrown away in a charity shop in Hartlepool, Co Durham.
I wasn’t sure if the ceramic would survive when clipped. Thankfully the mug was strong and a few interesting shards created. I have made three pendants, although from the same material, all different and unique. Tactile with raised pattern on striking blue glaze, the colours really stand out. The pendant lays flat, the front it’s very slightly twisted. Back and sides smoothed and sealed with Eco Friendly sealant.

Pendant measures approximately 21 mm x 15 mm x 2 mm
Hanging on 44 cm plus 5 cm extender recycled cord.
Delivered in gift box made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Presented on Jewellery box insert made from tall oil, a by-product of paper production. Sustainable gifts, complete with short bio and gift bag.
